I’ve been so excited to share this outfit because I love everything separately as well as cohesively. I was randomly on the Banana Republic website one afternoon and saw this amazing scarf called a snood. Once I saw the price though – I said “H$%^ NO! It was $70 and even the discount they had going wasn’t low enough to convince me. In typical Vivian fashion, I became obsessed with finding one at the right price. And of course I have the most amazing mom in the world because she is always willing to help when I get like this (mainly because she’s annoyed and wants me to shut up about it already). I figure, if Banana Republic has these, this MUST mean that the outlet has them too! I called, and I was in luck because they had them for only $20! I immediately had my mom run up there after work, just in case they sold out for some CRAZY reason. One of my biggest tips when it comes to shopping is to not be afraid to look around at sister stores and brands that carry similar products. Of course after I go on this crazy mad hunt for my perfect fur snood, now EVERY STORE has them! I have seen better options in store than I have online, for those of you who want one.

When I am not internet shopping, I randomly have these thoughts that pop into my mind of an items that I must have. That’s what happened when it came to these pants. I really wanted a pair of loose-fitting, army green pants, with pockets. Of course I walk into my fav store H&M, and there they were! I immediately grabbed them and headed to the check out. Be sure to look out for a future post with these same pants, just styled completely different, because that’s how much I love them
