I ask myself: is this a blanket, scarf, or both? I say…BOTH! I was on a mad hunt for this beauty when I first saw it, but really wasn’t trying to go out of my price point to get it. When I am in this predicament, my go to spot is Etsy. What it really came down to was scarf size and price point. Most of the larger ones I found were over $50 and I knew I didn’t want to pay that for just a scarf. Finally, I found one for only $19, I was so happy! The best thing about this scarf is the many different ways you can wear it, as I’ve shown above. You can find these almost anywhere now and they come in an assortment of colors. I would say this blanket scarf is a must have for the winter season!
Quick vent moment: This past week has been the craziest ever. Reasons why my posts were more random and I’ve been a little quiet (me? quiet? NEVER!). I had a melt down last Sunday through Wednesday because my Instagram stopped working. Naturally, I thought it was the end of the world (first world problems). My Instagram kept asking me to enter a phone number to receive a verification code to enter and for whatever reason, it would NOT work. I still had access to my Instagram page, but I couldn’t follow anyone, like or comment photos, make changes to my profile, etc. Eventually, I tried so many times it wouldn’t let me enter ANY phone number. I was having a true social media meltdown, it was epically horrible. I then decided that it was time to go into crazy mode (wouldn’t be the first time ). I will spare you all the boring details but I consistently contacted Facebook and Instagram via Twitter, Facebook messages, phone calls (an extreme failed attempt), and submitting reports. Three days later after truly believing all hope was lost, the verification was reset and I could finally enter a phone number again. Therefore, I had finally regained entry into Instragram-land. YAY!
Moral of the story is: in life, persistence is key. If you’re anything like me, when you really want something, you will do whatever it takes to get it. Although regaining access to my Instagram was quite trivial in the grand scheme of things, it made me realize that this is how I must treat everything I want to accomplish in life. Don’t stop until you get what you want – just maybe don’t be as crazy about it.
