So, you’re going to hate me because I bought this dress and it had no label. Since it came from Avalon Exchange, I have a good feeling that it’s a custom piece. I brought it home and my mom took a look at the lines she could tell it had been handmade. Such a shame it was given up, but was definitely a blessing and come up for me! It was a little big when I bought it so I had my mom make adjustments for me (perks for having a mom who has a sewing background – she’s awesome). The most amazing part about this dress is that it’s made from a nylon mesh material (the same material on basketball shorts). If you can’t tell, I am pretty obsessed with this dress and so many other items I’ve previously found at Avalon. If you’re from the St. Louis area, are there any other consignment stores that you love? Let a sister know, because unique and hard to find pieces are definitely my forte.
Seriously, where has time gone? I looked at the calendar and realized that I leave for California in a few weeks and I couldn’t be more excited! There are a few things I need to get done before I leave and I am kind of freaking out. There isn’t enough time in the day, but I always figure it out.
Happy Thursday, peeps!
